The design was to create a tent typology, which via a triangulated roof seeks to play with the traditional notion of a tensile fabric construction. Whilst it maintains their sense of empherality, its folding form of angular flat planes subverts the lightness of the fabric by giving it an illusion of solidity. The roof creates a clear span internal space of 600 m~2 using a steel primary structure, which is clad with an external and internal fabric panel.
