MVRDV was founded in 1991 by Winy Maas (left), Jacob van Rijs (middle) and Nathalie de Vries. They were born in Schijndel. the Netherlands in 1959, in Amsterdam in 1964 and in Appingedam, the Netherlands in 1965, respectively. They studied architecture at Delft University of Technology. MVRDV engages globally in providing solutions to contemporary architectural and urban issues. A research based and highly collaborative design method engages experts from all fields, clients and stakeholders in the creative process.
