Please tell us how your office was founded, and your office's structure. Our office was funded during our fourth year of university and we started building projects in collaboration with students and other people. We usually invite suitable partners for each project depending on the scale, time frame, budget and location. We sometimes hold workshops with students from Norway and foreign countries. We find a lot of inspiration and energy in working with students. At the same time, we want to give the next generation of architects a chance to learn from the same experiences we've had. In the university we work at, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, there is an increasing focus on hands-on building practice as a mode of learning architecture. This is an exciting development that we will try to be a part of. The value of practical understanding is underestimated in many studios and schools.
