The project, which was subject to public tender, required the conservation of an existing building, parts of which date from the 14th century. The poor condition of the structure and its inappropriateness for public use led to the demolition of pillars and top slabs. The surface area was insufficient for the program, and it was decided to distribute it among several buildings in the city. A former bank is used for an exhibition area and the minimum secondary areas: cafeteria, reception, storage areas, area for attending groups and assembly room.
