Partners' Essay: A Personal Journey

My education included degrees in architecture and architectural engineering, focusing on the total integration of design and technology as a tool for solving complex problems. I worked on funded research projects to develop software that would simulate design solutions to challenges traditionally executed by hand. Throughout my education I didn't follow any one "guru." Rather, I sought out different experts to help shape my path. I also had the opportunity as a teaching assistant to share my knowledge. This topic and its process - now known as integrated design - became my singular passion.
