Jeannette Kuo (JK):You started your Practice in 2008, at the height of the global recession, and in New York, which was arguably the epicenter of it. You could have probably started in China or the Netherlands, but you chose to start in New York. Why? Jing Liu (JL): New York was, serendipitously, where we both were, physically. It wasn't a pre-planned decision that we were going to start our office in New York. It was more of a consequence of the time and the timing, and we just evolved organically to become a New York office.
