House in the Alentejo Coast

Among the pines trees, a stone ground is designed on a scale that can no longer be understood as a courtyard. It embraces a wide expanse containing trees. The house and its services define a solid, recognizable border. The interior of this boundary is habitable and characterized by light. The more open side of the house sits a pool of water connected to the building by its geometrical shape. The context is highlighted by the space created through the limits of this extension.
