水無瀬の別棟

"Minase Annex" is the extension of "Machiya in Minase' built in 1970. On the ground floor, there are two rooms which are connected despite one being slightly raised. The extension's volume and access and it itself is ambiguous as part is independent from the main house yet in part adjoins smoothly. Furthermore, Minase Annex connects with the outsidernenvironment through the terrace and continuity of the outside eaves in the courtyard. Because this house is placed in a flagpole site it is buried within a block of houses. And as a result, we focused on creating a comfortable space in terms of light, wind and scale by concentrating on the proportion of the rooms and windows and their relationship between inside and outside.%この建物は1970年に建てられた水無瀬の町家の増築であり，主rn屋に住む夫婦の長女と母親が住むことが予定されていた。rn別棟の下階には，主屋のガレージから繋がる室2と．母親の生rn活がコンパクトにまとめられた室1を異なるレベルで連続させ，rn上階には，主屋の延長として住む長女のためのアトリエと寝室をrn設けた。
