早稲田大学大隈講堂は1927年（昭和2年）に佐藤功一，佐藤武夫の設計，内藤多仲rnの構造設計により竣工した。以来約80年にわたり早稲田大学のシンボルとして愛されrn続け，2007年に125周年を迎えた早稲田大学の記念事業として，次なる125年に向けてrn最先端の多機能型ホールとして使い続けるための保存再生を行った。%Waseda University Okuma Auditorium was originally designed by Koichi Sato(architecture). Takeo Sato(architecture), and Tachu Naito(structure) in 1927, and it has been symbolized in the University about 80years. We continue to maintain is as the auditorium with the latest technology. The concept of this renovation is coexisting interchangeable and unchanged. To exist original architectural element of Auditorium, we do consider as reconstruct existing building by wide range of research, restore aging facilities, reinforce structural deterioration, and reorganize circulation.
