Aquamarine Fukushima Kid's Museum is experience orientated museum designed for young children to enjoy the experience while learning about the importance of nature, biological diversity and the dignity of life. The architectural form was intended to evoke the interest of children by offsetting parallelogram shaped sections in plan, creating visual movement and continuity between interior and exterior spaces. The site has its own artificial beach, where children can "catch" and "eat" fish, learning through experience the "dignity of Life".
