TANABE BRANCH FOR THE KIYO BANK

摘要

The previous building as Tanabe Branch of Kiyo Bank was timeworn and to be replaced. The building is planned to take advantage of a triangular-shaped site by having the longest side face the abutting straight roadway in a distance of 60m. Such a long frontage is made to form a face of the bank by elaborating the facade with three types of tiles which are concavo-convex, textured in varied color shade in combination with locally abundant "Kishu" timber blocks with scorch finish, thereby making it express deep shade.
