Uniting Church Centre for Theology and Ministry, Parkville Williams Boag's Centre for Theology and Ministry in Parkville is a building of constant transition and evolution. Its formal facade, with glass blocks, skylight, picture windows and screens all work together to clearly suggest an ecclesiastic purpose to the building. Moving down the length of the building it continually transitions to a less permeable architecture. A large copper wall veiling the exposed structure transforming to an eventually impenetrable but delightfully moulded off form concrete shell comprising the rear section of the building. An architecture, possibly suggestive of the personal journey to enlightenment.
