Limitation Period for the Enforcement of Arbitral Awards in Nigeria

As stated above, enforcement of arbitral awards is of immense importance in the entire process of arbitration. This aspect of arbitral proceedings, however, seems to be in some confusion from both inconsistent legislation and judicial decisions. It is hoped that as arbitral practice in Nigeria continues to increase, these inconsistencies will either be cleared up by the courts or eliminated through some legislative reform.
