Exploring the Great Lakes with Dr. God: R. A. Vollenweider

I was closely associated with Dr. Richard Vollenweider from 1969 to 2007. He exerted considerable influence on my research career in the Great Lakes while he was the head of the Great Lakes Fisheries Research Board (GLFRB) Detachment in Burlington. Later, although he had moved to Environment Canada as a senior scientist, he continued to interact with me and influence my professional development as a scientist.
