20 year celebration of the Aquatic Ecosystem Health and Management Society

摘要

The Aquatic Ecosystem Health and Management Society (AEHMS) is very active and plays a key role in helping developing regions such as China, India, Malaysia and Mexico, by organizing scientific conferences and subsequent publications. With the support of myself, three special issues of Aquatic Ecosystem Health and Management journal were planned, two of which have been published using manuscripts based on oral presentations and posters originating from international workshops held in Guangzhou, China. Among them, Volume 15(1) was based upon the "5th international Workshop on Marine Environmental Change of the South China Sea (MEC 2009, Guangzhou)," which was organized by the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology (SC-SIO), sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology.
