An Economic Analysis of Real Estate Conservation Subdivision Developments

Conservation subdivision design, or open space design, Is an alternative means of possibly enhancing the quality of life In residential areas in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This study compares the appreciation rates between single-family conservation developments and more traditional developments and finds no statistically significant difference. These and other findings in the study are Important to real estate appraisers, homebuyers, and land developers.
