For many years planning literature has been using Copenhagen as an example for innovative urban policies.Tina Saaby and Jesper Pagh have played an important role in the discussions and materialization of city life in Copenhagen, both through their earlier jobs practicing architecture and their current roles as planning advisors.Tina Saaby has been City Architect since 2010 and from the beginning she was well known for her focus on improving city life. Before Jesper took over his new obligations at the Danish Architecture Association, he was involved in research on welfare architecture in Denmark and the changing role of architects.
