摘要

The polyamide epichlorohydrin resin(PAE)in paper was characterized by confocal laser scanning microscope(CLSM),scanning electron microscope equipped with energy dispersive X-ray(SEM-EDX)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).PAE in paper sheet was selectively stained with sulforhodamine 101 acid chloride.Pulp fibres were stained with acridine orange.The distribution of PAE in the paper could be observed by CLSM with this double stain technique for the first time.The amount of PAE in paper was quantified as the relative intensity(Os M alpha /C K alpha)by SEM-EDX after PAE was selectively modified with osmium tetra-oxide(OsO_4).The amount of PAE on paper surface was estimated from the relative intensity(N_(1s)/C_(1s))by XPS.The amount of PAE in paper hardly changes in spite of increasing the beating degree.However,the amount of PAE on paper surface decreased with the increase in beating degree.
