ICFPA releases 2015 global forest and paper industry sustainability report

In May the International Council of Forest and Paper Associations (ICFPA) released its latest Sustainability Progress Report which shows improvements on a range of sustainability indicators across the forest and paper products industry supply chain. The Australian Forest Products Association (AFPA) is one of the 22 members of the ICFPA. The AFPA Chief Executive Officer, Ross Hampton, attended the latest meetings in Washington to discuss the report's findings and the ongoing contribution of the global industry to environmental improvements and climate change mitigation. This report is particularly relevant in the lead up to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) conference to be held in Paris later this year.
