1. Production under way 2. U.S. Navy's standard heavyweight torpedo is the Mk 48 ADCAP 3. Torpedo to stay in service with U.S. Navy through 2020-2026 timeframe 4. Production is focused on the Mod 7 version. Further modifications will maintain the capability of the Mk 48 5. Additional export orders for the Mk 48 are anticipated.
