摘要

A statistical model based on the power profile of the transient response of a reverberation chamber is proposed in order to extract $K$-factor and different time parameters. $K$ -factor is described as a function of time moments and the normalized level of the power of the signal envelope. Analytical relations for the mean delay spread $tau_mu$ and the root mean square delay spread $tau_{rm rms}$ are computed. The average absorbing cross section of the loading materials is also estimated with regard to $K$-factor. Simulations and measurements validate and show the utility of this method.
