摘要

The oxidation of the heptamethine cyanine dye 2- form ula (ill.) -1-meth- yl-3, 3-dimethylindolimium cation (HMC~+) in the presence of tri-n-propylamine (TprA) at +0.7V vs SCE in MeCN produces near-IR electrogenerated chemiluminesce nce (ECL) with an emission maximum at about 805nm and a relative ECL quantum efficiency of 0.21vs Ru(phy)_3~2+ (phy=2, 2'-bipyridine) with TprA in MeCN as a standard.
