Annual Report and Tactical Planning Meeting

As part of the annual planning process for the activities of the Section on Quality and Productivity (Q&P), the Section officers hold a tactical planning meeting at JSM each year to develop the Section's objectives for the coming year. The meeting is run by the Chair-Elect, who will be the Section Chair when these plans are being carried out. Christina Mastrangelo was the Chair-Elect leading the meeting to develop plans for 2005. The three main topics discussed this year were Section membership, the Section's strategic plan, and Section sponsorship of the Fall Technical Conference (FTC) with the Section in Physical and Engineering Sciences (SPES) and the Chemical Processing and Industry and Statistics Divisions of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
