Deming Conference on Applied Statistics Planned for December

The 63rd Annual Deming Conference on Applied Statistics will be held December 3-7 in Atlantic City, New Jersey (Havana Tower, Tropicana Resort). This year, the topics for the tutorial sessions are noninferiority clinical trials, rates and proportions, analysis of correlated data, missing data in longitudinal studies, statistical microarray analysis, adaptive designs in dose-finding trials, adaptive design theory, response adaptive randomization, response surfaces methods, data mining, and bootstrap methods. In addition to the conference, there will be two short courses: Mixed Models: Analysis of Medical Data Using SAS (Robin Prescott, University of Edinburgh, and Helen Brown, National Health Service, UK) and Methods and Software for Bayesian Data Analysis (Bradley Carlin, University of Minnesota).
