Cleveland Chapter Hosts Workshop and Symposium

In celebration of the International Year of Statistics, the Cleveland Chapter of the ASA and department of statistics at the University of Akron are sponsoring a workshop and symposium in October. The hands-on workshop, "Introduction to Statistical Computing with R and Bioconductor," will take place October 4 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the University of Akron campus. This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn the basics of both R and Bioconductor from members of the Bioconductor Core Development Group at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Seattle). The number of participants for this workshop is capped at 35 (first come, first served).
