Hello! My name is Amanda Conageski, and I am the ASA's newest meetings planner. As a member of the meetings department, I will be working on the Conference on Statistical Practice, Joint Statistical Meetings, and other meetings throughout the year. I am excited to be part of this team and want to take a minute to tell you a bit about myself. Growing up, I lived in Kentucky, Delaware, Texas, and West Virginia. I went to George Mason University and earned a BA in government and international politics. After graduating, I worked at a small consulting firm in DC as the office manager. Before joining the ASA, I worked for the United States Tennis Association in White Plains, New York, in membership and community tennis marketing. To answer the seemingly inevitable question I receive, no, I can't get you tickets to the U.S. Open.
