15 years later, Water For People still growing grass roots support at home and abroad

In February Water For People (WFP) proudly celebrated its 15-year anniversary and the people who continue to make it possible to serve the poor in developing countries around the world. In the early 1980s, Ken Miller, a former AWWA president; Wayne Weiss, with Black & Veatch; and John B. Mannion, a former AWWA executive director, shared the heartfelt vision of a world in which all people have access to clean water, adequate sanitation, and basic health services.
