Chevron Selects Seabird For Agbami Field Survey

SeaBird Exploration Limited and its Nigerian partner, Sonar Limited, say they have executed a letter of commitment with Star Deepwater Petroleum Ltd., an affiliate of Chevron Nigeria Ltd., and operator of the Agbami Field offshore Nigeria.rnAccording to SeaBird, the letter covers the presurvey design and subsequent acquisition of a large-scale ocean bottom node (OBN) seismic program for the Agbami Field. The program will be conducted with the survey vessel Hugin Explorer, the source vessel Kondor Exploration, and the proprietary CASE Abyss 4C autonomous seismic recording system technology, SeaBird says.
