HB Rentals Builds Fleet By Investing $20 Million

HB Rentals says it has invested $20 million to add units to its rental fleet. The expansion will include 100 onshore units in the form of wheel-mounted trailers and cold weather-skid housing, as well as 20 A60-rated offshore units, the company reports. HB Rentals adds that it is increasing its inventory of auxiliary equipment and communication systems to support its fleet. In late November, the company indicated the build program would be complete before Dec. 31, 2010. "This investment, as well as the original $16 million spent early (in 2010) for the aggressive land build program, is proof of HB Rentals' willingness to invest in its growth in order to further support our customer base," says company President Deidre Toups.
