Armour to face the future foe

The British Army has used some memorable military machines in the past. Vehicles such as the Daimler Ferret, the Humber Pig and the FV-432 armoured personnel carrier have all done their duty in missions across the world. However dated they may seem now, when they were called up they were supposed to be at the cutting edge and ahead of their time. Continuing with that theme comes the British Army's latest plans to develop the next generation of medium-weight vehicles that will be ready for tomorrow's battles.
