I would take issue with the comment "Tellingly, the number of Toyotas recalled... more than doubled" ("Enter the Big Six," PE 25 January), The recall rate is not a measure of unreliability - it's more a measure of resources and the standards maintained by a manufacturer. I would far rather buy a vehicle from a company that recalls and fixes than from one that leaves me with the problem to sort out.
