rror occurs in the first line on page 1224 in the section entitled, “Case-case studies”; the sentence regarding the results of an American study is incorrect. Smith et al. (2) reported that an increase in the risk of MLL-positive leukemia was associated with the NQO1*2 allele, not MLL-negative leukemia as was stated in the article. This sentence should now read as follows: “The NQO1*2 allele significantly increased the risk of MLL-negative leukemia in infants in the Italian study (OR = 5.55, 95% CI: 1.81, 16.98) (3) and MLL-positive leukemia in the American study (OR = 2.47, 95% CI: 1.08, 5.68) (2).” The second error occurs on pages 1229 and 1230 in the labeling of the column headings for Figures 2–5. The correct labels for the column headings should read (left to right) as follows: “First Author, Location (Reference No.)”; “*1/*2 + *2/*2 Cases”; “*1/*2 + *2/*2 Cases and Controls”; “*1/*1 Cases”; “*1/*1 Cases and Controls”; “Weight, %”; “Odds Ratio”; “95% CI.” This labeling error does not change the results or the interpretation of the meta-analysis but, rather, clarifies the numbers reported in Figures 2–5. The authors and the Journal regret the errors.
