摘要

Peak incidence of Reye syndrome in the United States occurred in 1980, when 555? cases were reported. Since peaking in 1980, the incidence of Reye syndrome has dropped to less than two cases per year.2 This dramatic decline coincides with increasing reports linking aspirin to Reye syndrome.
