摘要

In Plato's analogy of the cave, several people were chained to the back of a cave for years. They faced total darkness. They had been there so long that they thought that this was the way it should be. One day, one of the people broke his chains and stumbled to the entrance of the cave. There, he blinked, trying to focus on the blinding light. After a moment, he realized that he had accepted the world as he saw it all those years, when this- this sunshine, this beauty, this richness of life- was reality.
