Wetcleaning suede, leather and cloth garments trimmed with suede or leather consists of seven steps. Each requires a specific procedure and the use of a specially formulated product to achieve the desired results. Do not attempt to use products that aren't formulated for use on suede, leather and leather-trimmed items; they can cause color losses, bleeds and transfers, as well as stiffening and matting on suedes. For this article, we used the Royaltone line; other products may not provide the same results.
