Dli Sets Dpycleaning Tech School Schedule

The Drycleaning & Laundry Insti-tute's (DLI) School of Drycleaning Technology offers hands-on classes at its headquarters facility in Laurel, Md., throughout the year for all levels of drycleaning experience. The one-week Introduction to Drycleaning course is geared toward those new to the drycleaning industry or with less than one year of experience. It covers sorting; cleaning silks, satins and other fabrics; drycleaning machine operation; stain removal; pressing pants, coats and skirts; and the use of tensioning equipment. Introduction to Drycleaning will be offered four times in 2009. the course costs $795 for DLI members and $,149 for nonmembers. Two or more DLI members from the same plant can attend for $695 each; Premier Club members can send students for free.
