摘要

To enhance the application of siliceous mesoporous molecularnsieves for catalytic applications, various metal ions have beennincorporated and applied for various types of reactions. One suchntransition metal is zirconium which imparts Lewis acidic character tonmesoporous silicates [1, 2]. KIT-6 is a large pore cubic Ia3dnmesoporous silicate [3]. Its tunable pore size (4 - 12 nm) and porenwall thickness might overcome disadvantages of various well-knownnmesoporous silicates. In the present study, we have attempted thendirect incorporation of zirconium in to the mesoporous framework ofnKIT-6 using triblock copolymers as the structure-directing agent innthe presence of n-butanol. Physicochemical Properties such as XRD,nnitrogen sorption, FTIR, UV-Vis and ammonia-TPD of Zr-KIT-6 arenpresented.
