摘要

Solid polymer electrolytes (SPE) have been under intense scientific investigation as they are attractive materials for safe portable energy storage. Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and its copolymers have emerged as the benchmark materials for SPEs.1-3 These materials show the highest conductivities as the ether based polymer backbone has the ability to coordinate and complex with Li+ ions.4,5 Relatively low conductivities at room temperature however, have limited their applicability in the portable energy storage market.
