The increasing amount of anthropogenic CO2 is recognized as anmain culprit of the global climate change. Among various ways to fixnexhausted CO2, such as chemical transformation, microbial CO2nfixation or sequestration, catalytic recycling of CO2 appears as verynpromising. Especially, hydrogenation of CO2 into CH4, so-callednmethanation reaction, presents important advantage of directnrecycling CH4 into fuel and chemicals.1,2 Among the previouslyninvestigated methanation catalysts, TiO2 supported Ru receives greatnattention as an effective catalyst due to its high selectivity towardsnCH4 at low temperature.3
