摘要

Vanadium oxide nanosheets were synthesized using a facile wetrnchemistry approach and studied through a combination of variousrninsitu/exsitu structural and electrochemical techniques. K_(0.2)V_2O_5 nanosheets exhibited effectiveness as an insertion material in storingrnK+ cations within the layers in an aqueous electrolyte. The capacityrnrate capability and the stability of electrode materials are dependentrnon morphology, crystal structure and degree of disorder which can bernmanipulated through synthesis and post treatment processes. Thisrnstudy provides further insights into developing electrodes forrnaqueous energy storage devices.
