1. Roll out a sheet of fondant large enough to cover the cake. Place a flowered textured mat over the fondant, then press the mat into the icing using a small rolling pin. While rolling, it is critical to keep the mat from shifting. Cover the cake with the embossed fondant. Cover the cake drum using the same process. Spray the drum with a light coat of water droplets to adhere, than apply the icing.
