While we've been following the progress of one cake decorator, Ashlee Trotter, as she geared up for her first attempt at the certifica tion test, (see her full account of her test day on page 24), our trip to Charlotte allowed us to broaden our coverage. We got photos of some of the finished certification projects and spoke with some of newly certified Sugar Artists and Master Sugar Artists about their experience. See some of the finished certification pieces and read what decorators had to say about their day on the following pages. Our congratulations to all who achieved this career landmark.
