High fashion is an art form. Although runway looks rarely reflect what people actually wear, the highly stylized ensembles are expressions of BEAUTY, studies in STRUCTURE and a snapshot of current CULTURE. We thought it would be fascinating to look at cake art through the lens of this vibrant medium. Our Showcase organizer, Rebekah Naomi Wilbur, gave thirty-five cake artists free reign to create a design inspired by Avant-Garde fashion. What follows is nothing short of stunning!
