"Years ago, when I only played around with sheet cakes, a high school friend of mine wanted me to make a two-tier cake for her son; as a loyal client, she ordered sheet cakes from us faithfully. Her son had just signed a record deal and they were having a HUGE event for him. So naturally, I said yes! I was so excited to make my first tiered cake! Of course, I knew absolutely nothing about supporting a tiered cake with dowels.
