By the end of the chat I will have convinced you to eat your Christmas tree... I'm probably about to date myself but I grew up in BPS. Yes, I am from Before Pumpkin Spice. Way back in BPS we didn't even have "Pumpkin Spice Mix." It was just known as cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg, and when we made pumpkin pies we just measured the individual spices. Barbaric, I know. I saw pumpkin spice hummus yesterday and quite frankly I'm shook (okay, I was tempted to try it...but eating strange combinations of food is sorta my kitsch...in the adjective form). I feel that, as humans, it is vitally important to our species that we continue our evolutionary journey and move past the Pumpkin Spice Age. We seemed to have stalled. We made it through the Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age, got a PSL, and went vegan. Come on humans! We can do this!
