Eine Neuentwicklung von HPI ermöglicht es, großformatige Querschnitte durch horizontalen Strangguss herzustellen. Auf dem „SuperSizeCaster" können im Einzelstrangverfahren großformatige Querschnitte wie Walzbarren, Stromschienen und Plattenvormaterial gegossen werden. Die abgebildete Anlage hat bei SAG Sohar LLC erfolgreich die Produktion aufgenommen.%A new development from HP1 allows for the production of large formats in the horizontal casting process. On the 'SuperSizeCaster' it is possible to castrnrolling slabs, bus bars and raw bars for the aluminium plate production in one strand modus. The equipmentrnas shown in the picture has been successfully commissioned for the production at SAG Sohar LLC.
