Aluminum is the most widespread metal in the Earth crust. It is easily machinable, has a comparatively low specific weight at sufficiently high strength characteristics, corrosion resistant and, consequently, universally applicable. Technologies of aluminum extrusion are perspective for a production of parts for almost all branches of industry: from rail cars to structural elements of computers and peripherals.
