'Roadmap for the Future' defines the common strategies for success

The Austrian specialist for the heat treatment of metals, Ebner Industrieofenbau, and Gautschi Engineering, the Swiss plant manufacturer of melting furnaces, casting equipment and plants for the homogenization and pre-heating of aluminium slabs and billets, have been united since 2010 under the roof of the Ebner group. The two companies work independently in their respective fields, each enjoying a strong position in their markets. To deal with future challenges, appointments to im-portant leading positions were recently made in both companies: Alfred Heinz is the new chief technical officer at Ebner, and Tom Jumelet is the new managing director of Gautschi Engineering. Both have held important positions for many years in international aluminium plants. Recently, ALUMINIUM had the opportunity to talk to these two managers about their strategies for the greater utilization of synergies, both in dealing with the markets and in the operative sector.
