The combination of cellular automata model with vertex model for simulation of normal grain growth

摘要

A combination of a Cellular Automata model for static primary recrystallization with a vertex model for normal grain growth is presented. Data conversion from Cellular Automata model to vertex model and implementation of the codes are discussed. Some first results on grain size distribution, grain shape distribution and vertex velocity distributions are presented. The grain growth kinetics and the Von Neumann-Mullins relationship are investigated.
