NEW INVESTOR-STATE RESEARCH PROJECT UNDERWAY AT VANDERBILT

The CPR Institute has been invited to assist in a research project investigating investor-state disputes, and the international arbitration and other conflict resolution processes used to deal with them.rnThe project is the brainchild of Tai-Heng Cheng, an associate law professor at New York Law School, and associate director of the school's Center for International Law. Cheng will lead the project as a visiting associate professor at Vanderbilt University LawrnSchool in Nashville, Tenn., in the Spring 2010 semester, teaching an International Investment Treaty Arbitration Seminar.
